Der Jodstoffwechsel des Myxödematösen

Zusammenfassung

Es wurde in einem Fall von Myxoedema adultorum der gesamte Jodstoffwechsel nach der Methodik vonv. Fellenberg untersucht; die Untersuchung ergab, daß sich sowohl bei lacto-vegetabiler wie bei Fleischnahrung der Jodstoffwechsel regelmäßig und von der Norm nicht abweichend gestaltet. Es wird die Schlußfolgerung gezogen, daß bei der Schilddrüseninsuffizienz nicht der Jodstoffwechsel, sondern die Transformation des Jods zum Inkret gestört ist.
