Evaluating the training of mental health administrators

Abstract

Training programs in mental health administration must pay increased attention to evaluating the fit between what they teach and what their students will do on the job. Defining effective administrative practice is one important part of the task and another is the development of assessment methods. The author identifies existing methods and recommends the simulation approach.
