Chronic ulcerative colitis with pseudopolyposis

Summary

Pseudopolyps are a common accompaniment of chronic ulcerative colitis. They are not true adenomas, but are intact, edematous, mucosal bridges between areas of ulceration. A case exhibiting an unusual variant of pseudopolyposis in association with a healed mucosa is reported.
