Summary
The case of an 81-year-old woman with an intussuscepting ileocecal adenocarcinoma is reported. The literature is reviewed and the pathology discussed. The importance of both barium-enema examination and an adequate small-bowel series in making the diagnosis is emphasized. Finally, the importance of even palliative resection cannot be overemphasized.
