Summary
In general, rectal complications of inflammatory diseases of the small and large bowel offer the proctologist a large field of interest and usefulness. If he uses to the full his medical knowledge and his diagnostic acumen, as well as his well-timed surgical skill, his efforts should be rewarded with success.
