Metastatic adenocarcinoma of the small intestine

Summary

With the exception of cases of peritoneal carcinomatosis, the involvement of the small intestines by metastatic lesions arising from primary adenocarcinoma of the colon or rectum is rare. A review of the literature is provided and one additional case report is presented.
