Abstract

A 15-year-old girl sustained a lumbosacral fracture-dislocation in a motor vehicle accident with resulting neurologic deficits. Plain films demonstrated a grade III spondylolisthesis, and computed tomography (CT) showed the actual facet subluxation on the right and dislocation on the left at L5-S1 with traumatic spondylolysis. Three-dimensional CT reformation more clearly displayed the relationship of L5 to S1, facilitating surgical planning and management.
