Abstract
Unilateral dislocation at the lumbosacral junction is a rare injury associated with severe hyperflexion and rotation of the lumbar spine. Plain film findings suggesting facet dislocation are usually confirmed with computed tomography. Most surgeons advocate early open reduction, internal fixation, and fusion.
