Untersuchungen über den Permeabilitätsquotienten mittels der Walterschen Brommethode

Zusammenfassung

1. 121 Fälle wurden mit derWalterschen Brommethode auf den Permeabilitätsquotienten hin untersucht.

2. Normalerweise bewegte sich der Quotient in guter Übereinstimmung mitWalter (2,9–3,3) zwischen 2,95–3,5. Die pathologischen Werte schwankten zwischen 1,50 als niedrigstem und 4,39 als höchstem Quotienten.

3. Die Untersuchungen bestätigenWalters Angaben, daß bei exogenen Krankheiten am Z.N.S. die Permeabilität erhöht, bei endogenen normal oder sogar vermindert ist. Dies Verhalten konnte auch insbesondere für Diabetiker und hier erstmalig festgestellt werden (Erhöhung in 5 von 6 Fällen).

4.|Die Brommethode stellt zur Zeit die einfachste und zuverlässigste Methode zur Prüfung der Permeabilität dar. Sie ist unter Umständen geeignet, die Diagnose zu stützen oder gar die Differentialdiagnose entscheidend zu beeinflussen. Darüber hinaus besitzt sie für die Klärung theoretischer Fragen große Bedeutung.
