Insulin als Antiemeticum

Eine klinische und experimentelle Untersuchung

Zusammenfassung

1. Insulin, in geeigneter Weise unter Vermeidung eines Shocks injiziert, wirkt bei den meisten Arten des Erbrechens antiemetisch.

2. Es hat nicht gegen das Erbrechen bei Pylorusstenose und bei Hirndruck gewirkt und war auch bei psychisch bedingtem Erbrechen wirkungslos.

3. Es ist nicht imstande, in mittleren Dosen, das Erbrechen nach Cuprum sulfuricum und Apomorphin zu coupieren.

4. Es wird der Vermutung Ausdruck gegeben. daß das Erbrechen, wenn es durch Insulin coupiert werden kann, durch abnorme Stoffwechselprodukte ausgelöst wird, welche nach Insulindarreichung verschwinden.
