Stercoral perforation in a patient with adult Hirschsprung's disease

Abstract

A case report of a patient with adult Hirschsprung's disease, complicated by stercoral ulcer with perforation, is presented. Although infantile Hirschsprung's disease may occasionally result in bowel perforation, this complication is exceptional in the adult.
