Summary

The groundwater flow through karstic limestone formations cannot be expressed by the known conventional relationships for groundwater flow.

The object of this study is to derive some relationships for the groundwater flow by a systems approach for these kinds of karstic regions.

Water level observations of the natural or artificial reservoirs can be considered as inputs, while discharges from springs around these reservoirs can be considered as outputs of the mathematical model.
