Edward L. Jaffee is manager, Washington, D.C. office, and Washington Representative for PPG Industries. He has closely followed environmental legislation in the United States for fifteen years. He has been chairman of the National Task Force on Environment and Energy of the Public Relations Society of America, and in previous employment, was manager of Environmental Quality Information for the Manufacturing Chemists Association (now the Chemical Manufacturers Association). He is on the editorial advisory board ofThe Environmentalist.
