Zusammenfassung

In 3 Umfragen wurden Gefäßverletzungen in Österreich im Zeitraum von 1967 bis 1979/80 ermittelt. Es wurden Daten von der zentralen Dokumentation der AUVA sowie von fast allen Gefäßzentren erhalten. Es wird über insgesamt 2031 Gefäßverletzungen berichtet. Die Ergebnisse der 3. Umfrage (1975 bis 1979/80) werden mit den beiden früheren Umfragen (1967 bis 1970/71 und 1971 bis 1974/75) verglichen.

Summary

Data, regarding vascular injuries in Austria were collected from the central documentation of the Industrial Accident Insurance Company (AUVA) and from most of the centers performing vascular surgery. 2031 vascular injuries were registered. The results of the present study are compared with earlier results.
