Abstract

Careful attention to quality assurance in all phases of hyperthermia treatment is essential to assure optimal safe and effective treatments. General guidelines have been established by the Hyperthermia Physics Center (HPC). However, equipment and treatment needs will vary among hyperthermia facilities. Therefore, these guidelines should serve as a baseline starting point for each facility in the establishment of their own QA guidelines.
