3. Die drastische Senkung der Operationszeit.

Summary

From April 1980 to April 1982 121 gastroentero-anastomoses with a mechanical anastomosis suture device were performed. The advantages of the suture machine are: 1. Performance of a safe anastomosis in areas that are difficult for an operative approach (deep rectum anastomosis in a narrow pelvis). 2. Shortening of the time of operation. 3. Reduced rate of anastomotic leakage.
