Bei bestimmten entzündlichen und neoplastischen Erkrankungen des Dickdarms ist die Zytologie anderen diagnostischen Methoden überlegen. In Übersichtsform wird auf Technik, Indikation und Ergebnisse der Dickdarmzytologie eingegangen.

Summary

In certain cases of inflammatory and neoplastic diseases of the colon cytology is superior to other diagnostic methods.

The technique, indications and results of the cytology of the large intestine are presented as a review.
