Zusammenfassung

Die Osteosynthese mit Autopolymerisaten bei Knochenmetastasen scheint uns allen anderen Operationsverfahren überlegen zu sein. Es wird über die Vorgangsweise und die Ergebnisse bei 33 Knochenmetastasen verschiedener Primärgeschwülste berichtet, die in den letzten 41/2 Jahren zur Operation kamen. Die drei Forderungen für die Behandlung von Knochenmetastasen—schnelle Beseitigung der Schmerzen, rasche Behebung der Immobilität und möglichst frühzeitige Spitalsentlassung—können so am ehesten erfüllt werden.

Summary

Synostosis with autopolymerisates in bone metastasis seems us to be a method superior to all others. Technics and results concerning 33 bone metastasis of different primary tumors are reported, which were operated within the last 41/2 years. Three requirements for treatment of bone metastasis—fast reduction of pain, quick mobilisation and earliest possible hospital dismission—can be fulfilled most appropriately in this manner.
