Es wird eine neue Technik beschrieben, die es ermöglicht, die Gefäße an der Dorsalseite des Unterschenkels freizulegen. Die Vor-und Nachteile dieses Zuganges werden diskutiert.

Summary

A new surgical approach to the distal popliteal artery and the tibiofibular trunk is described. This approach makes surgical exposure of these vessels possible from the third segment of the popliteal artery to the malleolar region.
