Zusammenfassung

Die dem Rush-Pin angeschuldigte verzögerte Bruchheilung wird an Hand von 48 gepinnten Oberarmfrakturen im wesentlichen widerlegt. Pseudoarthrosen und verzögerte Bruchheilung treten meist nur nach technischen Fehlern auf. Auf solche, besonders häufige Fehler, die einen Mißerfolg verschulden können, wird hingewiesen.

Summary

By 48 different cases of pinned humerus fractures it should be demonstrated, that delayed healing of bone fragments is not caused by the Rush-Pin. Formation of pseudoarthrosis and delayed healing of fractured bones occur only as a result of technical mistakes. It is referred to such errors, which are in the most cases the cause for such failures.
