Abstract
Numerous occurrences of late Cenozoic (Late Pliocene or early Quaternary) diktytaxitic, olivine basalt in Oregon, northeastern California, northwestern Nevada and southwestern Idaho are interpreted as remnants of a regionally extensive, thin basalt sheet, manifesting a single volcanic event of vast magnitude.
