Summary

Peculiarities and change of stress state in isotropic, anisotropic and non-uniform masses at the foot and base of rock slopes when creating deep reservoirs are considered. Data on permanent observations of slope stresses before and at the time of filling the reservoir are given. The analysis shows the influence of filling on the rate of movement along slope fractures.
