The relationships between post-failure state and compression strength of sudetic fractured rocks

Abstract

The behaviour of the Sudetic crystalline rocks in a pre- and a post-critical state of stress is the topic of this work. The pre-and post-critical failure energy ratio has been discussed, and the regression lines of residual strength of fractured rocks has been detrmined, based on which the residual strength (Rrez) and the standard compression strength (Re) relationship was empirically determined as Rrez=0.18Rc+5.6;

Résumé

Le comportement de roches cristallines des Sudètes avant et après rupture est le sujet de ce travail. Le rapport entre les énergies de rupture pré et post-critique est discuté, les droites de régression de la résistance résiduelle des roches sont établies, et le rapport entre le coefficient de résistance résiduelle (Rrez) et la résistance à la compression standard (Rc) est empiriquement défini comme étant: Rrez=0,18Rc+5.6.
