Zusammenfassung

Bei älteren Jugendlichen wurde in 6 Fällen eine isolierte Fraktur der vorderen distalen lateralen Tibiakante als Folge einer extremen Extension des Fußes, meist bei der Ausübung des Schulsportes, beobachtet. Immer konnte der gleiche Unfallmechanismus rekonstruiert werden. Eine restitutio ad integrum ist nur durch operatives Vorgehen zu erwarten.

Abstract

In six adolescents an isolated fracture of the anterior lower end of the distal tibia was seen. It was due to an extreme extension of the foot, mostly after sport in school. The mechanism of the injury was uniform in all cases. A complete restitutio ad integrum could only be achieved by surgery.
