Zusammenfassung

Nach der Reposition im Gipsverband zu haltende Radiusfrakturen müssen konservativ behandelt werden. Die Osteosynthese kommt bei instabilen Frakturen, besonders bei dem Überbiegungsbruch und der volaren Randfraktur zur Anwendung. Bei Mehrfragmentfrakturen zeigt die Extensionsbehandlung über einen äußeren Festhalter bisher die besten Kurzzeitergebnisse.

Abstract

If fractures of the radius are to be kept in position by plaster cast, they should be treated conservatively. The internal fixation is primarily used to treat instable, hyperflexed and volar brim fractures. Comminution fractures are most effectively treated by traction. The best short-term results for comminution fractures are obtained by traction combined with the external fixator.
