Osteochondrale Fraktur im Sprunggelenkbereich

Zusammenfassung

Trotz des relativ seltenen Auftretens von chondralen und osteochondralen Frakturen im oberen Sprunggelenk ist es wichtig, in der Diagnostik nach einem Trauma im Sprunggelenkbereich an diese Möglichkeit zu denken. Neben den herkömmlichen diagnostischen Verfahren gewinnt vor allem die Computertomographie bei der Feststellung von Unfallfolgen gerade im Hinblick auf die chondralen und osteochondralen Frakturen zusehends an Bedeutung.

Abstract

In diagnostic assessment of a trauma in the ankle joint region, it is important to think of a possible chondral or osteochondral fracture of the upper ankle joint, although the incidence of such fractures is relatively low. Besides the conventinal diagnostic procedures, computed tomography becomes more and more important in the assessment of accidental injuries, especially with regard to chondral and osteochondral fractures.
