Die habituelle Luxation des Ellbogens beim Kind

Zusammenfassung

Anhand des operativen Spätresultates eines eigenen Falles und der Literatur wird zu interessierenden Fragen um die habituelle Ellbogenluxation des Kindes Stellung bezogen. Hyperlaxität des Gelenkes und Formvarianten desselben werden dafür gleichermaßen angeschuldigt wie stabilitätsmindernde sekundäre Gelenkschäden nach Erst-und Rezidivluxationen. Modernere Möglichkeiten zur Verbesserung der präopertiven Diagnostik sind Arthroskopie, Computer-und Kernspintomographie. Bei habitueller Luxation wird die Frühoperation mit bewährten Operationstechniken empfohlen.

Abstract

After a short review on literature the late result of an operated elbow with a follow-up time of 23 years is reported. The actual problems of this rare condition are discussed. Congenital hyperlaxity, a shallow semilunar notch and traumatic sequelae after previous dislocations reduce joint stability. Arthroscopy, X-ray tomography and MRI update accurate preoperative diagnosis. Early operation is recommended to reduce further damage in the joint. Nowadays well proved operative procedures provide good postoperative results.
