Zusammenfassung

Von 1970 bis 1985 wurden in der Orthopädischen Universitätsklinik im Oskar-Helene-Heim Berlin 116 Frakturen des proximalen Radius bei Kindern behandelt. Anhand der Behandlungsergebnisse einer Nachuntersuchungsserie von 56 Patienten (52 Epiphysenlösungen bis metaphysäre Halsfrakturen; zwei Meißelfrakturen, 2 Mehrfragmentfrakturen) wird die Häufigkeit von Spätfolgen wie Bewegungseinschränkungen, Achsenabweichungen, Wachstumsstörungen oder Nervenläsionen mitgeteilt. Deren Ursachen sowie mögliche Konsequenzen für die Therapie werden vor dem Hintergrund kontroverser Therapieempfehlungen der Litertur diskutiert. Auf die besondere Problematik der Dislocatio ad latus und der operativen Spätversorgung wird hingewiesen.

Abstract

From 1970 to 1985 in the Orthopedic University Clinic (Oskar-Helene-Heim Berlin) 116 children with fractures of the proximal end of the radius received medical treatment. The frequency of the remaining complications like restriction of movement, differences in elbow axis angle (carrying angle), disturbances of growth or nerve lesions are described. The cause of those complications and the facilities for treatment are discussed in regard to controverse recommandations for therapy in literature. Special reference is made to problems of dislocation ad latus and late operative treatment.
