Summary
A method of long-intestinal-tube gastrostomy with internal splinting of the small intestine is presented. Indications and advantages are described. The method has been successful in a six-year experience. Its simplicity, efficiency and freedom from complications are emphasized. Inflation of the bowel by a soft ballon, facilitating dissection in navigating the bowel, is also stressed.
