Zusammenfassung

Durch den Austausch des normalen Winkelstückes, welches beim Halo-Fixateur mit Metallaufbau die Verbindung zwischen dem Aufbau und dem Kopfring herstellt, gegen einen Doppelwinkel mit einer Schenkellänge von 3 cm kann die Handhabung dieses Halo-Fixateurs vereinfacht werden, da Röntgenkontrollen im seitlichen Strahlengang besser durchführbar sind.

Abstract

An easier application of the halo fixation is obtained when the elbow linking the construction with the head ring is replaced by a double elbow possessing a lateral side length of 3 cm. This allows a better execution of X-ray examination in the lateral ray path.
