На быстрорегистрирующей обсерватории Будков получаются записи подходящис для исследований короткопериодических вариаций электромагнитного поля Земли. Особое внимание уделяется здесь исследованиям временной микроструктуры возмущений. Приводятся некоторые новые характеристики внезапного начала геомагнитных бурь.
