Stochastic space-time and the primary energy spectrum of cosmic rays atE 0≥1019 eV

  • Published:
Il Nuovo Cimento C

Summary

The energy spectrum of primary protons atE 0≥1019 eV,i.e. the steepening around 1019 eV can nicely be explained within the framework of stochastic space-time. Moreover, the complete cut-off of UHCR (ultrahigh-energy cosmic-ray) spectrum can also be avoided and a flattening is favoured without considering the extragalactic component of cosmic rays.
