Abstract
The mass-spectrometric behavior of a paramagnetic platinum oligomer with guanine was determined by the fast atom bombardment method. The complex is built of PtCl2 groups linked by guanine molecules into a chain via the imidazole N7 atom and the exocyclic OC6, atom. In a dimethylsulfoxide solution, the degree of oligomerization of the complex is n=4.
