Sommario
Abstract
In this paper different approaches to the problem of Computational Complexity are surveyed. Subrecursive hierarchies are first examined, then the machine dependent theory of complexity is considered and, finally, the greatest attention is given to work done under the abstract point of view. The last section is concerned with results relating various theories.
