Abstract

Sound velocity and attenuation of3He in the zero sound region was measured under the magnetic field of 8T with 400MHz ultrasound so as to study magnetic properties in the equilibrium condition. For 5 bar and at the temperature around 23 mK, the change Δc/c between 0 T and 8 T is less than 10 ppm.
