Calculation of the formation processes of underground cavities by blasting method

Abstract

Computer modeling is performed for underground explosions in soft soils. Features of cavity formation are studied with different blasting schemes for two spherical charges. It is shown that charges distributed in space and with simultaneous action are the most effective for constructing underground storages of the magazine type in clay soils.
