Plane-impact parameters in stepped impact systems

Abstract

Expressions are obtained for the parameters of plane longitudinal impact in rod-striker and rod-instrument system, with internal boundary surfaces. Relations that allow a system of coefficients taking the configuration of stepped rods of any form into account to be calculated on the basis of the wave equations are established.
