Abstract
In the ternary system MgO−Na2O−P2O5, the system Mg2P2O7−NaPO3 has been examined by thermal and X-ray methods and its phase diagram has been determined. The intermediate compound Na3Mg2P5O16 exists in this system. It melts peritectically at 948 K and decomposes to mixtures of sodium-magnesium metaphosphates and magnesium pyrophosphate Mg2P2O7.
Zusammenfassung
Im ternären System MgO−Na2O−P2O5 wurde mittels thermischen und Röntgenmethoden das System Mg2P2O7−NaPO3 untersucht und das entsprechende Phasendiagramm erstellt. In diesem System existiert das Intermediär Na3Mg2P5O16. Es schmilzt peritektisch bei 948 K und zersetzt sich zu einem Gemisch aus Natriummagnesiummetaphosphat und Magnesiumpyrophosphat Mg2P2O7.
