Abstract

The use of low temperature irradiation, lyophilisation and synthetic multielement standards in the INAA of biological samples are described. Changes of trace element concentration during the growth of a tumour and between normal, gastritic and tumourous mucous membrane of the stomach are demonstrated. Trace elements are also determined in histone fractions.
