Binding of14C-phosphatidylcholine to sodium chloride crystals

Abstract

14C-Phosphatidylcholine in benzene was found to bind to sodium chloride crystals. The magnitude of this binding was greatest when the crystal size was the smallest, namely when the crystals were prepared from frozen and lyophilized aqueous solution.
