Depolarization of beams of relativistic particles passing through bent crystals

Abstract

It is shown that the characteristic depolarization length of leptons and baryons is much greater than their dechannelization length. This is due to the gyromagnetic ratio close to two for leptons and due to the large rest mass for baryons.
