Abstract
A lipophilic chelate formed from tropolone and99mTc is described. Radiochemical yields of the chelate were 90–95%. The radiochemical purity of neutral chelate as determined by HPLC was greater than 95%. The octanol/water partition coefficient of the chelate was 3.2 Whole-body distribution studies of the labeled chelate were carried out in rats.
