Abstract
The extraction of palladium and platinum with trioctylphosphine oxide (TOPO) in cyclohexane, chloroform, methyl isobutyl ketone (MIBK) and 2,2′-dichlorodiethyl ether (DCDE) from hydrochloric and hydrobromic acids in dependence on the concentration of the acids and the extractant has been investigated. The obtained relation have been discussed and the possibilities of the separation of palladium, platinum, gold and their simultaneous extraction have been pointed out.
