Abstract
A new method of preparation of rose bengal labelled by radioisotopes of iodine has been developed. The method is based on heterogeneous isotope exchange between rose bengal absorbed on a solid carrier and electrophilic species of radioiodine in HCl solutions. Low specific activity solutions can be used in the method. The method can also be used for preparation of other labelled derivatives of diiodofluorescein.
