Abstract
The extraction of SbI3 by various organic solvents has been investigated as a function of H2SO4, KI and organic additive concentrations. At [Sb3+]: [I−]≈3, extraction increases in the order hexane → cyclohexane → kerosene → CCl4→CHCl3 → benzene → toluene → o-xylene → nitrobenzene.
