The use of phenol—Formaldehyde resin binding for sample preparation in activation analysis

Abstract

The possibility is shown of preparing mechanically strong samples out of friable and powdery material for neutron activation analysis. The properties of the polymer-bound samples were studied, including the change of volatility of bromine and the methods of removing the surface impurities introduced before irradiation.
