Abstract
A chelating-agent loaded resin consisting of 8-quinolinol-5-sulfonic acid and an anion-exchange resin was prepared in order to apply the resin to the selective concentration of trace amounts of chalcophile elements in natural water samples prior to neutron activation analysis. Trace amounts of arsenic as well as copper and zinc were successfully collected and determined by the proposed method.
