Operationsprinzip
Durch Exzision von Lig. coracoacromiale und vorderem unterem Acromion wird der subacromiale Raum erweitert. Dies erlaubt, in Funktionsstellung des Armes (vorwiegend Flexion) auftretende, schmerzhafte «Einklemmungen» der Rotatorenmanschette zu beheben, eine weitere, mechanisch bedingte Zerstörung der Rotatorenmanschette zu verhindern, bzw. eine Rotatorenmanschettenrekonstruktion vor mechanischer Alteration zu schützen (Originaltechnik Neer 1972 [2]).
