Abstract
The neutron flux distribution around the disk-shaped sources of accelerator type fast neutron generators has been calculated theoretically and compared with experimental data. It has been shown that the observed sharp flux gradients are inherent in the system and not due to non-ideal behaviour of the experimental parameters.
