Abstract

A model of the process of diffusion by the vacancy mechanism in a two-dimensional alloy has been constructed. A study is made of the influence of the temperature on the kinetics of disorder processes and of the characteristics of the equilibrium states of a binary alloyAB of stoichiometric composition ordered according to a checkerboard type of structure. Some characteristics of an ensemble of point defects of the substitution type are obtained.
